One day I am going to live beside an estuary. Nothing could be more pleasurable than watching the changes of the tide and the bobbing of small boats. This is my idea of heaven.
A different picture every minute.
The writings of a man born out of his time and far from his homeland. The prayer poems and stories of a spiritual mind. Inspiration to those who believe and those who are lost and want to find themselves.

My local estuary is, as you well know, an extremely muddy place...
It looks idyllic - but tacking might prove a tad testing. But who cares, I'd be happy just to sit on board and daydream.

Ah, I once lived on the Atlantic coast in the Maritimes in Canada. Had a lovely little summer cottage there and oded on the daily tides. That was 20 years ago. Every day was a miracle of wonder!
But global warming and the erosion factor became far too expensive so I moved far inland to where there is a huge lake. Still have erosion, but not to the extent of the ocean.
We have lots of ittle creeks like that in the mud flats around here, but the gestapo don't allow boats in them due to the Health and Safety rules.
Sad, isn't it.
P.S. What the 'ell 'appened to my l?
